Mrs. Kathy Chadwick

My name is Kathy Chadwick, and I am a Math and Religion teacher at Holy Cross Academy. I have been teaching for 21 years. I have a degree in Mathematics and am certified in K-12 Mathematics and Elementary Education. 

I strive to bring real-life lessons to my classroom and to stretch the thinking skills of my students so that they can explore mathematics. We enjoy playing The Stock Market Game and learning how math plays out in daily life, such as in car loans, mortgages, and managing a budget.

I incorporate STEM with projects like the Design Your Own Amusement Park, in which students learn 2-D design and  3-D printing of the rides they create. I am also the moderator of our Gold Level MathCounts Club.
